Vegetable Seasoned Green Beans



Are you looking for a new way to serve green beans? This easy recipe uses our Taste the Seasons Vegetable Tray mix to season green beans with mixed vegetables and ranch-style spices. You can substitute asparagus or squash for the green beans.

Ingredients

1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed

3 tablespoons olive or vegetable oil

1 package Taste the Seasons Vegetable Tray mix 

4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled 

Directions

Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the green beans and cook for 3-5 minutes. Drain and immediately pour cold water over the beans to cool; set aside.

Heat the oil in a large skillet. Stir in the Vegetable Tray mix and then add the green beans. Sauté the mixture for approximately 3-5 minutes until crisp tender. Add the crumbled bacon. Serve hot or chilled.


Makes 4 to 6 servings
