Taste the Seasons Chicken and Noodle-Dumplings



There are two types of dumplings – those made with biscuits and those made with noodles. We take advantage of the slow-cooker to puff up lasagna noodles, making a soft noodle-dumpling. Our Taste the Seasons Vegetable Tray mix adds just the right amount of flavor to this comfort dish.


Ingredients

2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1” cubes

1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup

1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of celery soup

1 cup chicken broth

1 package Taste the Seasons Vegetable Tray mix

1 teaspoon salt

6 ounces lasagna noodles, broken into 2” squares

4 cups water

Directions

Place the cubed chicken in a slow cooker. Add the cream of chicken and celery soups; blend together with the chicken broth. Stir in the Vegetable Tray mix and salt. Add the broken lasagna noodles and then stir in the water.

Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours.

Note: The noodles may stick together during cooking. If possible, stir during the cooking process or separate them before serving. If the mixture becomes too thick, add more chicken broth or water.
