Peppermint Chocolate Nuggets

These melt-in-your mouth cookies are filled with mini chocolate chips and a hint of peppermint from our seasonal Taste the Seasons Peppermint Chocolate mix. Dip the tops in sugar sprinkles or add more peppermint flavor with crushed peppermints.


1/2 cup butter, room temperature

1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

1 package Taste the Seasons Peppermint Chocolate mix

1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour

1/8 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons red sugar sprinkles and/or finely crushed peppermints


In a medium bowl, cream butter and vanilla; gradually add Peppermint Chocolate mix and beat until light and fluffy. Blend in flour and salt; mix well.

Shape into small balls using about 1 teaspoon dough. Dip tops in sugar sprinkles and/or crushed peppermints. Place on ungreased or parchment-lined cookie sheet. Bake in preheated 300°F oven for 25 minutes.
