Hazelnut Cafe au Lait truffles

Our favorite after-dinner flavors rolled into one classy bite! What better way to enjoy dark chocolate than with hazelnuts, coffee, cream and a little Louisiana pizazz from our Taste the Seasons Hazelnut Café au Lait mix. Super easy to make too.

1 cup heavy cream

1 package Taste the Seasons Hazelnut Café au Lait mix

12 ounces bittersweet dark chocolate, finely chopped

1/4 cup cocoa powder or confectioners sugar, sifted

In a small saucepan, heat the cream until it boils; reduce to a simmer. Add the Hazelnut Café au Lait mix; stir and bring back to a boil.

Pour half of the seasoned cream into a bowl with the chocolate; stir. Add the remaining cream and continue to stir until chocolate is completely melted. Refrigerate uncovered for 1 hour or until somewhat firm.

Spoon 2 teaspoon mounds of the chocolate mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Refrigerate for 30 minutes until firm.

Roll each chocolate mound into a ball and then roll in the cocoa powder or confectioners sugar to cover.
