Creamy Broccoli Slaw

We enhanced a classic broccoli slaw with a creamy vegetable-filled and ranch-seasoned dressing made with our Taste the Seasons Vegetable Tray mix. Make it your own by substituting the tart dried cranberries with red grapes or add nuts instead of sunflower seeds.


1 cup sour cream

1 package Taste the Seasons Vegetable Tray mix

2 tablespoons lemon juice

2 teaspoons sugar

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 pound broccoli, raw

1 apple, chopped

1 cup carrots, shredded

1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced

1 cup dried cranberries

3/4 cup roasted sunflower seeds


In a small bowl, whisk together the sour cream, Vegetable Tray mix, lemon juice, sugar, and salt. Set aside.

Pull apart broccoli florets and shred stems. In a large bowl, combine broccoli, apple, carrots, red onion, dried cranberries, and sunflower seeds. Pour in the dressing and toss to coat. Chill until ready to serve.
