Cranberry Baked Oatmeal

Tired of the same old oatmeal? Here’s a new twist that uses our seasonal Taste the Seasons Cranberry Sauce mix to add dried cranberries, zesty orange and a touch of spice to oatmeal. Easy enough to let your children help. Mix it up in the morning and then let it bake while getting ready for the day, or prepare it the night before and microwave in the morning.


1 egg

1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup applesauce, unsweetened

2 tablespoons butter, melted

2 cups natural old-fashioned rolled oats

1/3 cup brown sugar, packed

1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 package Taste the Seasons Cranberry Sauce mix



In a medium bowl, beat together egg, milk, applesauce and butter. Stir in oats, brown sugar, baking powder and salt; blend in Cranberry Sauce mix.

Pour mixture into a greased 8 x 8-inch baking dish. Bake in preheated 350°F oven for 30 minutes.
