Cheesy Noodle and Beef Bake

Your family will enjoy this flavorful easy-to-make main dish that is seasoned with our Taste the Seasons Cajun Trinity mix. It’s also a favorite for potluck dinners. Make two and freeze one for later!


1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef

1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes with juice

1 package Taste the Seasons Cajun Trinity mix

1/2 teaspoon salt

12 ounces wide egg noodles

8 ounces sour cream

15 ounces ricotta cheese

1 cup cheddar cheese, grated



In a large sauté pan, brown beef. Drain fat. Stir in the diced tomatoes with juice, Cajun Trinity mix and salt. Simmer.

Cook egg noodles according to package directions until al dente. Drain and transfer to a large mixing bowl. Stir in the sour cream and ricotta cheese until the noodles are coated.

Add half of the noodles to a lightly greased 9x13” baking dish. Top with half of the beef mixture. Repeat layers with remaining noodles and beef. Sprinkle top with cheddar cheese. Bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 20 minutes.

Note: To freeze, assemble in a disposable aluminum oven-proof pan and seal with heavy foil. When ready to cook, place directly in a preheated 375°F oven and bake, covered for about 45 minutes. Remove cover and bake about 20 minutes more.
