Cajun Trinity Stewed Okra

We seasoned up a classic southern dish with our Taste the Seasons Cajun Trinity mix. Easy to make with fresh or frozen okra and corn during any season. If desired, serve over hot cooked rice.


4 slices bacon, diced

1 pound okra, sliced 1/2-inch thick

1 cup whole kernel corn

1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes with juice

1/2 cup water

1 package Taste the Seasons Cajun Trinity mix


In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp. Add okra, corn, tomatoes with juice, water and Cajun Trinity mix; stir to combine. Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
