Cajun Trinity Shrimp Dip

Wow guests at your next gathering with this Louisiana-inspired cold shrimp dip. When zesty Creole mustard and horseradish are combined with the Cajun flavors from our Taste the Seasons Cajun Trinity mix, deliciousness happens! Take it up a notch with the addition of crab meat.


1 pound small (91/130 count) peeled shrimp

Shrimp and crab boil as desired

8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature

1/4 cup ketchup

2 tablespoons Creole mustard

1 tablespoon prepared horseradish

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 package Taste the Seasons Cajun Trinity mix


In a medium saucepan; bring water to a boil; add shrimp and crab boil and then add shrimp. Cook about 2 minutes until shrimp are pink and begin to float to the top. Drain shrimp; add ice to stop the cooking process. Chop cooled shrimp.

In a medium mixing bowl, cream together the cream cheese, ketchup, Creole mustard, prepared horseradish, lemon juice, salt and Cajun Trinity mix. Stir in the chopped shrimp. Cover and chill several hours to allow flavors to develop. Serve with buttery crackers or crostini.
