Cajun Trinity Crawfish Bread

South Louisianans love this time of year… Mardi Gras and crawfish season. Plus, Jazz Fest is just around the corner! Enjoy them all with our rendition of a favorite from Jazz Fest, satisfyingly seasoned with our Taste the Seasons Cajun Trinity mix and simplified without the need for a skillet.

8 ounces sour cream

1 teaspoon Creole mustard

1 package Taste the Seasons Cajun Trinity mix

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 pound crawfish tails

4 ounces Monterey jack pepper cheese, grated

4 ounces cheddar cheese, grated

1/3 cup green onions, chopped

1 18-inch loaf French bread

In a small bowl, blend together the sour cream, Creole mustard, Cajun Trinity mix, and salt. Combine with the crawfish, cheeses and green onions.

Slice the loaf of bread lengthwise and spread the crawfish mixture evenly on the bottom portion. Fold the top portion of the bread over the filling and wrap tightly in aluminum foil.

Bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 25-30 minutes until the mixture is heated through and the cheese is melted. Slice into portions and serve hot.
